RNGdle rarity tiers

Data snapshot: 2026-10-02 · Official changelog: 2026-09-21
Rarity on RNGdle is a percentile of your entropy points, not a range of the number itself. A small number can outscore a large one when its badges are rarer.

Number rarity
| Tier | Band |
|---|---|
| Trash | Bottom 1% |
| Common | Bottom 50% |
| Uncommon | Top 50–25% |
| Rare | Top 25–10% |
| Epic | Top 10–5% |
| Anomaly | Top 5–1% |
| Mythic | Top 1% |
Badge rarity is a second scale, based on how often the badge appears: Common above 10% down to Mythic under 0.001%. A Common badge can still sit on a Mythic roll if other badges carry the score. See best numbers and worst numbers.
Verification notes
I copied the seven bands from the about page on 2 October 2026 and refused the number-range table I had seen in a design mock, where Trash was drawn as 0000000–0999999. That mock is not how the about page defines the bands. The code thresholds I noted from the scoring bundle were trash 1, common 50, uncommon 75, rare 90, epic 95, anomaly 99, which line up with those percentiles.

Questions people ask
Is Trash rarer than Common?
Trash is the bottom 1% of scores. Common covers the bottom half. Trash is the low end, not a rare prize.
Does a bigger number mean a higher tier?
No. The tier follows the EP percentile. The about page ranks the score, not the size of the integer.
